Peter and Friends
Peter and Friends was a commissioned carving by Iain Chalmers who as the final piece of the improvements to the Children’s Play area.
It’s a collection of familiar animals, think Peter Rabbit and you’ll see many familiar characters which are well loved by the kids to clamber on.
The improvements were part funded by the proceeds of Carve Carrbridge® and the Scottish Open Chainsaw Carving Competition®.
Additional funds were raised by a variety of events from Fancy dress themed evenings to sponsored activities including a long walk through the Lairig Ghru.
Applications to other funding organisations created the necessary mix that made this project a great success.
Thanks go to Stephen Blair who helped with the installation and Highland Council for ongoing maintenance of the park
