About the Activities
Carve Carrbridge is a family friendly event and there is something for all ages.
Parking at Landmark Forest Adventure Park is an ideal starting point for families and just a short walk to the event. On the way you will pass some of more than 30 carvings around the village.
Details about these can be found by scanning the QR codes for those that have them as part of the Carrbridge Carving Trail.
You can pick up a copy of the Carving Trail at the Cairn or Carrbridge Hotels or at the Gate on Carve Day
The Badenoch and Strathspey Pipe Band play over lunchtime and whilst the judging is taking place.
Scottish School of Forestry UHI are on hand to chat about pathways into the industry
Highland Artisans will be on site for young Crafters to have a go at Garden Ornaments and Birdhouses
Aaron Sterritt will be over at the Community Orchard for those wishing to try their hand at green woodworking and get some relative quiet or spend some time in the willow sculpture planted by the local school children. Donations to the care and maintenance of the Orchard are welcome but not expected.
Spencers Fun Fair is always a popular favourite.
The Crockery Smash and other activities will be delivered by volunteers and all funds raised will go to the Friday Club for Carrbridge Primary School Pupils.
And Wooden Tom is coming back for all those who love to throw an axe
